1. What is StarLIVE?
StarLIVE is Star Media Group’s signature event platform, designed to spark meaningful conversations and connect communities through live, interactive experiences. Since its inception in 2014, we have organised 47 sessions as of September 2026.
By bringing together experts and thought leaders, each StarLIVE session explores important life topics – from health and well-being to personal growth, financial literacy and societal issues.
2. What topics does StarLIVE cover?
StarLIVE covers health and well-being, personal growth, financial literacy, societal issues, hobbies & activities and mental wellbeing & digital boundaries, bringing experts and thought leaders from all walks of life.
3. How do I register for the upcoming StarLIVE session(s)?

4. Can I attend StarLIVE for free?
The session is free for The Star newspaper subscribers. For non-subscribers, a non-refundable fee of RM30 is required and it includes a 1-month trial for The Star Online (The Star Digital Access).
We currently accept bank transfer only. Please include “StarLIVE” and your name in the payment reference.

5. I am not a The Star subscriber and I paid RM30 when I registered, but I am unable to attend. Will I get a refund?
The RM30 event registration fee is non-refundable. Kindly plan your attendance carefully before confirming your registration.
6. What are the availability of the seats?
Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis at our Cybertorium. Do arrive early to secure your seats.
Should Cybertorium be full, we will provide another room and livestream the session there.
7. Will I get a video recording after the session?
No, we will however provide registered participants with an “event highlights” video summarising the key highlights of the earlier StarLIVE session.
8. Is parking validated or free of charge at Menara Star, Petaling Jaya?
No, as the parking space is operated by SCP Parking Management at Phileo Damansara 2. Here is the parking fee from their physical signboard:
