Head of Household Financial Education Department, AKPK
Nirmala Supramaniam graduated from Universiti Kebangasaan Malaysia in Bachelor of Economics (Hons) and later completed her Masters in Science Management, UUM. She has also obtained the Registered Financial Planner (Affiliate) certificate. She began her career in a commercial bank with the Credit Card Department. She joined AKPK in 2009 as a Credit Counselor mainly to provide guidance and counseling to applicants who are financially distress. Nirmala Supramaniam later joined the Financial Education Department and was appointed to head the community outreach programs in promoting AKPK’s Financial Education Programs. Currently she is the Head of Household Financial Education Department, AKPK. She has attended numerous interviews with the media with regards to promoting the importance of Financial Education and also been a part of some forum discussions.
