Gary is a Senior Member of Energy & Chemicals Sector Solutions Group at UOB where he is involved in developing customized banking solutions and provide industry expertise in risk management & portfolio management for oil, gas, new energies & petrochemical sector of the Bank across the ASEAN region. With the growing emphasis towards sustainability financing in supporting decarbonization activities, Gary is instrumental in developing the Umbrella Transition Financing Framework for UOB Group and alongside with the Framework, curated a comprehensive suite of financing solutions to support hard to abate sectors in their transitional journey.
Prior to this, Gary headed up the oil & gas industry group in UOB Malaysia before joining Corporate Banking Overseas, UOB Group. He has more than 20 years experience in covering top tier relationships for Commercial Banking and Corporate Banking clients and has also led numerous high-profiled deals involving top tier oil, gas & petrochemical transactions during his tenure.
