Managing Director

Andy Low, the Founder and Managing Director for Greenbulb Energy is a Chartered Engineer* from The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) UK and has a Bachelor in Engineering with First Class Honours in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Nottingham.

He has 15 years’ experience in the seaport industry, and realised Malaysia is lagging neighbouring countries in crane automation and highly dependent on foreign technology for crane upgrades. Capitalising on Malaysia strategic port location and his proprietary port project management model, he is very driven and passionate to mark Greenbulb Energy as one of the best seaport crane experts in the world.

He was recently selected to be part of the advisory committee of his alma mater’s Malaysian campus under the Engineering Department Industry Advisory Board, to provide ideas and opinions for key topics that lay the groundwork for undergraduates. He is also establishing research and development programs with the university to prepare and encourage young graduates to embrace automation in port industry, reducing reliance and dependence of foreign companies and professionals.
